One Year Old Lena

One Year Old Portraits

Ms. Lena turned one this week!  We went down for a double dose of birthday fun Memorial Day weekend to celebrate both Lena and Everly’s birthdays.  She followed in her sisters footsteps by being an early walker and always on the go.  Lena’s happy personality makes it easy to get great portraits…that is… if I’m quick.  We were able to get a quick photo session in while visiting before we got poured on!  I’m getting used to that this spring.  Anyways, here is one of my favorites, but check out all of Ms. Lena’s One Year Old Proofs Here.

Haley Swing Senior Portraits

Columbia City Photographer, Senior girl portraits, senior portraits

This time of year is wonderfully bittersweet.  My kids are still “littles” but my husband and I find ourselves saying, “I can’t believe they are going to be in 2nd and 4th grade.”  So I can only imagine the feeling of having a son or daughter graduating!

There is so much to do in the final year and I’m happy to be a part of one of those final tasks, senior portraits.  Knowing what a busy time this is for a family, I try to make senior portraits as seamless as possible.  I recently did senior portraits for a young lady that was an absolute pleasure to work with.  You couldn’t take a bad portrait of Haley if you tried so she made my job easy.  To say that Haley is an accomplished high school athlete would be an understatement.  Her humble attitude will give her an edge over many other players that she will go up against as she goes onto play collegiate basketball in Michigan.  Good Luck Haley!  Here  is one of my favorites, but be sure to check out all of Haley Senior Portrait Proofs Here.

Smith Family Portraits Spring 2019

Spring Family Portraits, family of three, Sheets Photography, Family portraits

This is the third time I have photographed the Smith Family.  The first time was with a larger group of family members and I have now photographed just their family twice.  I can’t believe how big Ms. Brooklyn has gotten!  Even though we were dodging rain showers, the evening turned out to be really nice and we were able to get some fantastic family portraits.  We even had the sun peek out for a bit.  We decided to photograph this round of family portraits in Foster Park.  The park is beautiful especially this time of year.  Here is one of my favorites.  To see all of the Smith Spring Family Portraits Click Here.

Dominick Planchon Senior Portraits

Senior Portraits, senior guy portraits, Columbia City Photographer

This spring, our unpredictable Indiana weather has been been a challenge for farmers, spring athletes, and photographers.   However, Dominick’s senior portrait session was like a needle in a haystack, the day was beautiful!  I had the privilege of photographing Dominick’s older brother last year.  I love when past clients return for another session.

Dominick was so easy to work with.  Every photographer loves a guy that isn’t afraid to smile at the camera!  And when you have a smile as great as Dominick’s, why not show it off.  I loved Dominick’s relaxed personality, his tender heart for animals, and hearing about his plans after high school.  The Planchon family is family that knows how to raise good, hardworking, respectful men.

Here is one of my favorite portraits from this senior session, but you can check out all of Dominick’s Proofs Here.

Reed Senior Portraits

Weather is warming up and seniors are finishing up their last year in high school.  Many students are preparing for college, some are planning to enter the work force, but all are anxious to start the next chapter of life, adulthood.  It is fun to get to work with seniors and chat with them about their plans.  I had a blast during this senior portrait session.  Reed was wonderful to work with and so mature for his age.  Here are some of my favorite shots.  You can see all of Reed’s Senior Portraits Here
