It was such a pleasure working with the Toth Family! Maxton is the Toth’s second child and his big sister was absolutely fantastic for her brother’s newborn portraits. Little Maxton didn’t do too bad himself. I was able to capture some fantastic images of Maxton, some of my favorite newborn portraits to date! This session was jammed with variety; we were able to get Maxton’s newborn portraits, some with big sis, some with mom, portraits with dad as well as a group shot. Here are some of my favorite shots from this newborn portrait session. Follow this link to view Maxton’s entire newborn portrait session.

Is this family gorgeous or what! Dana was recommended by a friend and I’m so glad we were able to schedule an extended family portrait session while her brother was in town for a short time. This family was an absolute pleasure to work with! We had a beautiful evening to take portraits and the results are stunning. This extended family picture was meant to be.
We were able to get some great variety out in the woods as well as some great portraits in the barn. I think everyone loved shooting in the barn. It is a timeless setting and we didn’t have to worry about poison ivy! I had such a difficult time narrowing down my favorites that I had to post two sneak peeks! The barn family portraits will make great Christmas cards. Click the following link to view all of the portraits from this extended family portrait session. Here are some of my favorites!

Cora and Reid are so much fun to photograph! During this session we captured Cora and all the new things she can do at 6 months old like sitting up, finding her toes, and giving mom big smiles. Reid, 2 years old, is on the move and excited to be a big brother. I was even able to catch him giving little sis some kisses.
The portraits from this session turned out absolutely beautiful. I was able to get stunning 6 month portraits of Cora, fun 2 year old pictures of Reid and some great portraits of them together. Mission accomplished! Here are some of my favorites. Click the following link to view the entire session, which you should because there tons more.

Little Malachi was a perfect angel for his first portrait session. Even though his big brother wasn’t too keen on getting a picture taken we managed to snap a quick picture of some brotherly love. It was an absolute pleasure working with this family and we have tons of variety. We were able to incorporate a lot of their personal items which will make these newborn portraits even more special. Here are some of my favorites. Click the following link to view Malachi’s entire newborn session.

It’s been a while since I’ve done newborn boy portraits. So I was really excited after talking with Kilee about some ideas and props that we were going to try to incorporate in little Bracken’s first photo shoot! I’ve been waiting for the chance to use some antlers in a newborn session; so when Kilee mentioned using them I was even more excited.
Not only was Bracken a champ, but his parents did a spectacular job getting him ready for the shoot. He had a nice full tummy, was wearing only a diaper and was ready for a nap. The prep work prior to a newborn portrait session and the calm attitudes of the parents during a session is what makes newborn portraits successful. Mom, Dad and Bracken all did their part.
Here are a couple of my favorites. Click the following link to check out all of Bracken’s proofs.
